BMW Street Carver

BMW created and produced a board called the street carver from 2001-2004. It featured an interesting steering system that was based on that used in BMW 5 Series cars. The tilt of the deck changes the angle of the wheels in a similar way to normal skateboard trucks, although the street carver is able to corner much more tightly. The board has an extremely smooth carving ability that mimicked the ride of a surfboard or snowboard. The aesthetics are interesting and pleasing because the steering mechanism is visible, it is especially pleasing to view when being ridden and the articulation of the axels is working.
